Sunday night, February 3, the New England Patriots and the Los Angeles Rams battled at the Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta, Georgia for the title of Super Bowl LIII winner.

 

With a final score of 13-3, this year’s Super Bowl was indeed the lowest scoring game in this competition’s history, with the first half being the second lowest scoring half.

 

The Patriots were crowned the winners, granting quarterback Tom Brady, at the age of 41, with his sixth championship of his career. The Rams, who haven’t been present in the championship game since 1999, were defeated. Quarterback Jared Goff, 24 years old, experienced his first ever Super Bowl. Julian Edelman—Patriots wide receiver—was announced as the MVP with 10 catches for 141 yards.
