Now that you know what you could be enjoying, I bet you’re wondering how you sign up.  On the Disney+ website, you can choose either a $6.99 a month subscription, or the $69.99 a year subscription.  With both subscriptions comes a 7-day free trial to test out your favorite shows, movies, or documentaries. That is the program for the United States.  In Canada and Australia, the price is $8.99 per month and $89.99 per year. The cost in New Zealand is $9.99 monthly and $99.99 annually. Prices vary in different countries, but at least it’s currently available.  If you live in the United Kingdom, Germany, France, Italy, or Spain, you’re out of luck— Disney+ doesn’t launch until March 2020.

There are multiple platforms that support the new streaming service and different bundles available.  For example, you can get the Hulu, ESPN, and Disney+ bundle for $12.99 a month. Another great way to save cash is by being a Verizon Wireless subscriber because Disney+ is free for a year. However, there is no free trial.  For platform devices, the service is available on all Apple devices, Android TV, Google Chromecast, Roku, Microsoft Xbox, Sony Playstation, Amazon Fire TV, Samsung TV, and LG Smart TV.

The streaming service made it as accessible as possible to watch its content.  Seven different profiles can be created so each viewer can watch their own shows or movies.  According to Callaham from an extensive article on Disney, ten devices can be used at the same time and four of them can play the same content at once.  There is also an option to download content so you can watch Disney while disconnected from Wi-Fi. Another positive aspect is the service is free of ads— well, almost.  The only ads shown will be at the login page when Starz is advertised. Other than that, there are no ads to interrupt the reminiscing of your childhood or the introduction to the world of Disney to children.

So, what are you waiting for?  You’d have full access to all past and present Disney shows, movies, reality shows, and documentaries, along with content from Pixar, Star Wars, Marvel, Fox, and National Geographic at the click of a button.  Whether you’re a kid, a teenager, or an adult, Disney+ has it all. As Walt Disney said, “Imagination has no age.” You’re not getting any younger— unless you download Disney+ to awaken the child in you.
