Brianna Foster is a senior at Smithtown High School East. This is her second year working for The Matador, and she is now a managing editor.

Brianna Foster became interested in journalism through a love of activism and voicing her opinion that she developed interning for the National Organization for Women. Working for this feminist group has definitely influenced her writing, as her article "My Statement Starts With A Period" is her favorite written work to date.

Besides her love of feminism and politics, Brianna loves music. She has written many reviews, from "A Dirty Computer, But A Clean New Sound" to "Sivan Blooms Again." She also loves drawing, hiking, and of course, writing.
