Janet Liu, Staff Writer

Janet Liu is a senior at Smithtown High School East and a staff writer for The Matador. She is currently taking AP English Literature and Composition, and she took AP English Language and Composition in her junior year. She loves to watch romance television shows and movies. She is on her school’s varsity badminton team and is very involved in her school’s business and music departments. She enjoys to read and write narratives and descriptive essays. Janet recommends the novels Invisible Man by Ralph Ellison and Let the Great World Spin by Colum McCann. Janet’s go-to album is Camila by Camila Cabello.
