Alexis Albert
Alexis Albert is a staff writer for the Matador in her junior year. This is her first year on the Matador writing staff. She’s currently enrolled in AP Language and Composition.

She’s most passionate when writing about politics. She is the revivalist/president of Political Awareness Club and has been an officer for DECA for the past two years along with being a member of French Honor Society. She is an advocate for social issues which are present in her opinion pieces.

Her favorite TV shows are Sex and the City and Black Mirror. Her favorite artists are J.Cole, Gucci Mane, and Jorja Smith.

She wishes to pursue a career in international relations when she’s older in hopes of gaining a broader sense for the world around her.
