Have you ever imagined making $500,000 a month from playing video games? Well, Tyler Blevins, more commonly known by his online alias Ninja, is living that life.

  Blevins has accumulated more than 9.5 million subscribers on YouTube and over 6 million on Twitch, a universal streaming website and app, allowing viewers to watch people playing games as well as cooking and lifestyle streams.

Blevins gets the name “Ninja” from the way he plays, often sneaking up on enemies, being stealthy, and knowing where everyone is all the time.

Tyler Blevins was born on June 5, 1991 in Grayslake, Illinois. As his father was an avid video game player himself, Blevins wanted to try it out. His brothers also played and when Tyler, the younger brother participated, he would always beat his brothers with no competition.

Ninja was previously an eSports competitor playing Halo 3, winning Major League Gaming Championships four times. Afterwards, he resorted to playing PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds, where he had 100K subscribers on Twitch.

However, when Fortnite released its Battle Royale mode, Ninja saw an opportunity to try a new challenge. Fortnite is a game that allows you to build and show off your architectural skills also testing your accuracy, trying to eliminate players to win the game or get a Victory Royale!

As he played more, he got to be good, really good. He doesn’t justwin via his  amazing skills, he plays with style and swag, often using the fan-favorite impulse grenades to gain height on enemy players and strike from above.

As the game’s popularity grew, Ninja began to play with celebrities, rappers, and athletes as he squadded up with Witt Lowry, Travis Scott, Marshmello, and Drake. He also got to play with Pittsburgh Steelers WR Juju Smith-Schuster of the NFL and Tottenham Hotspur forward Harry Kane of the English Premier League.

Blevins also recently got married to fellow Twitch streamer Jessica Goch in 2017. Jessica is a cooking/lifestyle streamer, giving tips and tricks to daily life.

Ninja’s popularity is only growing as he makes the big bucks playing video games living the dream.
