Who am I? Are you sure you want to know? The story of my life is not for the faint of heart. If somebody told you it was a happy little tale, if somebody told you I was just your average ordinary guy, not a care in the world… somebody lied.
But let me assure you, this, like any story worth telling, is about a boy who was bitten by a camel. Some of you may know what that is, and some of you may not, and I am okay with that. Some of you may find that weird, and some of you will laugh, but the best joke of all is that I sincerely don’t care, and neither should you.
Throughout high school I learned that people will only try to tear you down, there will be some who genuinely care about you, and want you to succeed, and I am glad to say I met them here at Smithtown High School East. There is much that I would like to say to the newer high schoolers and the younger classmen in general, but I feel that there is one thing that you should know. You should never care what other people think, and do it with pride. It’s better to be weird than to not stick out at all. And if someone is being a jerk…well just smile and wave boys!
